Christopher J. Stock, M.D. is a licensed physician and surgeon who earned his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his medical internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in Ypsilanti in Internal Medicine, and his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit.
Prior to his medical training, Dr. Stock received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in chemical engineering, and worked for General Motors Technological Center and for the Michigan Department of Air Quality.
He worked for two group practices before starting his own practice in Grandville in 2003, and expanding into Muskegon in 2005. He has been on the medical staff at Spectrum Health and St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids since opening his Grandville office, and joined the staff of Hackley Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Muskegon in 2000.
Dr. Stock is married and has three grown children. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, sailing, fishing and biking.
